BioBarrier® Root Control System is a product which will stop root penetration without harming the plant. The geotextile product with nodules of slow release Trifluralin stops the tree root cells from dividing. This stops the roots from penetrating in the direction of the sidewalk or other structure which the Biobarrier is protecting. Biobarrier II is used in horizontal application and is normally covered with aggregate or mulch. This product will maintain a weed free environment while allowing the plants you planted to grow without harm.
