General Industrial Permit

Products to address new requirements of the General Industrial Permit

With the implementation of the new Industrial Storm Water General Permit Order 97-03-DWQ, effective as of July 1st 2015 revisions to existing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) must be made.  The new Permit requires more monitoring, sampling and includes Numeric Action Levels (NALs) for certain pollutants.  Visit the State Water Resources Control Board website to view the information on the General Industrial Permit.

PetroLoxx for Hydrocarbon Removal

PetroLoxx® for petroleum hydrocarbon removal is a natural absorbent that is used in Filtrexx® stormwater pollution prevention practices, such as Sediment Control, Check Dams, Inlet Protection, Biofiltration and Bioretention Systems. It is used to reduce petroleum hydrocarbon, or polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (oil/grease, diesel fuel, gasoline), loads in stormwater runoff, particularly in urban watersheds, near parking lots/decks, highways, fueling stations, car wash facilities, marinas, and ports.

Filtrexx MetalLoxx for Metals Removal

Filtrexx® Metals Removal is a natural ionic adsorbent that is used with Filtrexx® stormwater pollution prevention practices, such as Sediment Control, Check Dams, Inlet Protection, Biofiltration and Bioretention Systems. It is ideal for reducing metals loads (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn) in urban and post construction stormwater runoff.

Filtrexx BactoLoxx for Bacterial Removal

BactoLoxx® for bacteria removal is a natural sorbent that is used in Filtrexx® stormwater pollution prevention practices, such as Sediment Control, Check Dams, Inlet Protection, Biofiltration and Bioretention Systems. It is used to reduce coliform bacteria loads in stormwater runoff, particularly near animal feeding operations, pet frequented areas, and urban watersheds where bacteria in runoff is an issue.

Specific coliforms targeted by this product include, but are not limited to, genera Escherichia, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, and Citrobacter, including E. coli and fecal coliforms.

Filtrexx NutriLoxx for Nutrient Removal

NutriLoxx® for nutrient removal is a natural sorbent technology that is used in Filtrexx® stormwater pollution prevention practices, such as Sediment Control, Check Dams, Inlet Protection, Biofiltration and Bioretention Systems. It is used to reduce nitrogen and phosphorus loads in stormwater runoff, particularly on fertilized soils such as agricultural lands or golf.

Filtrexx® Nutrient Removal is a natural material that chemically adsorbs soluble phosphorus and nitrogen (ammonium-N, NH4+-N) in water and stormwater, thereby reducing transport to water bodies, reducing bioavailability to aquatic plants, and minimizing algae blooms, eutrophication, and low dissolved oxygen levels that can lead to fish kill and collapse of aquatic ecosystems.

Permanent Inlet Protection for Pollutant Control

Unlike the temporary inlet bags used for sediment control, the permanent inlet filters are made to order to fit perfectly into any drainage structure to assure treatment of al runoff.  Filter media options are available to address hydrocarbons, heavy metals, sediments and other organics from stormwater and industrial runoff.

FleXstorm Pure Inlet Filters

The FLEXSTORM PURE system is your choice for permanent inlet protection and storm water runoff control. Constructed of versatile stainless steel, FLEXSTORM PURE Inlet Filters will fit any drainage structure and are available with site-specific filter bags providing various levels of filtration.

Ultra-Hydrokleen Inlet Filters

The Ultra-Hydrokleen Inlet Filter removes hydrocarbons, heavy metals, sediments and other organics from stormwater and industrial runoff.  Available sampling option is a convenient and effective means to obtain samples of the post-treatment effluent from the Ultra-HydroKleen to comply with monitoring and testing requirements.
