Reed & Graham, Inc. stocks a wide variety of drainage composites. We represent two main manufacturers that produce different types of composite products.
American Wick Drain produces a vacuum formed dimple board that is covered with a geotextile filter fabric. This board is normally installed vertically with the fabric side towards the earth and the flat side attached to the foundation. There are a wide variety of applications and products depending on application. Typical applications are foundation wall drains, retaining wall drains, and planter drains. Multiflow is manufactured of high density polyethylene material. Designed to replace standard French drains and other edge drain materials due to ability to intercept and collect high volumes of water and move it efficiently to drainage outlets. Multiflow may be installed either vertically or horizontally. This gives the designer greater flexibility where space and gradient may be a problem. Multiflow is generally used in three primary applications:
1. Soil Interceptor drains. This application is sports fields, golf courses, parks, lawns and other area where drainage is necessary.
2. Sheet drains. This application is the collection and movement of water away from foundation walls.
3. Highway edge drains. This application is used to remove water quickly away from the subsurface structure of a roadway. The quicker the water is removed, the longer the road structure will retain its design strength.
